Luar biasanya adalah akhirnya dia berhasil menjadi seorang Ibu, untuk pertama kalinya, di usia 72 tahun!
 Daljinder dan suaminya, Mohinder Singh Gill, 79, telah menikah selama 46 tahun, namun tidak pernah memiliki keberuntungan untuk mengandung anak-anak di tahun-tahun awal mereka sebagai suami istri.



Pada usia 70 tahun Daljinder mencari saran medis dan mulai menjalani perawatan terapi kesuburan. Ajaib! dia hamil setelah menjalani terapi dua tahun! Bahkan, Daljinder juga memberi ASI kepada anaknya!
“Pada satu titik, dokter mengatakan kepada saya bahwa dia belum pernah bertemu dengan wanita yang lebih keras kepala dari pada saya, menghabiskan uang untuk semua perawatan itu. Tapi saya pikir keras kepala dan ketekunan saya terbayar, karena hari ini, saya sungguh-sungguh adalah seorang Ibu,” kata Daljinder.
Anak itu adalah laki-laki, dan diberi nama Arman.
“Saya khawatir saya akan mati saat anak saya tumbuh, tapi Dr. Bishnoi meminta saya untuk bersikap positif dan lebih baik saya berkonsentrasi untuk mendidik dan memberi anak saya, Arman, masa depan yang cerah.”



Meski pada awalnya para dokter agak diam dan menolak memberikan perawatan kesuburan karena usianya yang lanjut, dia tidak berhenti bersikeras. Akhirnya, sifat keras kepalanya memberi dia hadiah yang paling berharga – anaknya sendiri.
